Aug Farm Day Cancelled
Regretfully, we have decided to cancel the August Farm day.
Those already registered, and others, can call for a
private tour insead after Aug 20.
Hopefullly, I will be feeling better (morning sickness!) in 3-4 weeks and Dave
will have the floor repaired in the loafing shed and the new engine installed in the grinding tractor. It's been a trying
summer, but we look to be back to normal soon.

Pullet Eggs
If you were here on June 12th, you will remember the young white chickens that we said will be laying soon.
They have
started laying now! Yesterday, we got 3 tiny eggs from them. These are called pullet eggs and are very rich and
flavorful. Over the next month or 2 the rest will begin laying too and the eggs will get larger until they are full
size.
